About Aligarh Muslim University

The public Aligarh Muslim University (popularly Known as AMU) was established in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh, in 1920. According to the NIRF 2022 Rankings, the university was placed 11 under the “University” category and 19 overall. The University Grants Commission (UGC) has authorized AMU’s programmes, and the university is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). It has earned “A” accreditation from the NAAC. AMU Aligarh Admission process
