The Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar was established by Haryana’s Legislature in 1995. NAAC, NBA, UGC, and AICTE gave GJU Hisar A+ grades. NIRF 2023 ranks the university 49th in pharmacy. The distance learning courses offered by the institution are also available to students approved by the Distance Education Bureau, UGC, New Delhi. Merit based Scholarships
The Department of Science & Technology offers scholarships to undergrad B.Sc. (General) and postgraduate learners majoring in basic science subjects like chemistry, physics, Botany, Zoology, Mathematical Subject and Geology.
*100 merit-based students from each B.Sc. First Year and M.Sc. Prior program are selected each year.
*B.Sc. students receive Rs. 4,000 per month plus an emergency stipend of Rs. 4,000, while M.Sc. students receive Rs. 6,000 per month plus Rs. 5,000 per year.
