Also known as ICT Mumbai, the Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai is an institution of higher education that is purely publicly funded. It was established in 1933 as the University Department of Chemical Technology, a constituent of the University of Bombay. It received the Deemed-to-be-University status from the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Govt. of India.
