Magadh University (MU) was founded by Satyendra Narayan Sinha in 1962. Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan laid the University’s foundation. The public-state university holds the recognition of the University Grants Commission (UGC). Magadh University is accredited with NAAC ‘Grade C’ and is the first ‘Digital University’ of Bihar. The university is now governed by the Bihar State University Act 1976. With its sprawling 460-acre campus, 24 PG departments, 44 constituent colleges, eight faculties and 175 affiliated institutes, it is Bihar’s largest university.

Magadh University Admission Process
- Visit the official website of Magadh University.
- Click on the Result tab.
- A Result Page will open where students can select the desired course to check the result.
- Then select the semester in which candidates want to check the result.
- By clicking on a particular course, a new window will appear.
- This new window will contain a pdf format file along with a submission form.
- In this form, candidates have to fill their Course and Roll Number then have to click on Show Result.
- Students can also reset their entries by clicking on Reset Data.

Magadh University does not provide scholarships or fee waivers to its students but students can avail scholarships by registering at the National Scholarship Portal given by Govt of India. At that portal, deserving, meritorious & needy students can have financial benefits as there are several Central Schemes & UGC/ AICTE Schemes.
The university assists students in obtaining education loans and regarding its documentation. Besides scholarships, the students can also opt for government loans up to INR 4 Lacs. Being a government scheme, the rate of interest on these loans is extremely low around 3%.
