Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, also known as MPUAT Udaipur, is a state university established in 1999 by Rajasthan Agricultural University. MPUAT is accredited by ICAR, recognized by AICTE and affiliated to Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The institute offers various graduates, postgraduates, doctoral level courses in Agriculture, Fisheries, Dairy and Food, Engineering and Technology.
MPUAT awards bachelor’s degree in 13 disciplines, master’s degree in 27 specialization subjects and doctor’s degree in 25 specializations. Admissions are both entrance and merit-based followed by counselling and interview and the application process is both online and offline.

MPUAT Admission Process
An application fee of INR 2800 is charged from general category students (INR 1400 for SC/ST/Physically DIsabled). The students can follow the below given steps to submit an admission application:
1. Visit the official website of Rajasthan JET.
2. Click on Apply online
3. New users must first register by entering their name, date of birth, mail id and password.
3. Click on OK to submit the details
4. Existing users can log in using the login credentials sent to their registered mail ids
5. Next step is to fill up the application form with the required details
6. Then make a fee payment online
7. Candidates can pay using credit/debit card or net banking

MPUAT provides scholarships to its students in the form of fee reimbursement etc. In addition, it also provides bank loan facilities. Many state govt scholarships are also provided to various categories of students. ICAR and UGC provide scholarships for ICAR students and top rankers as per certain terms and conditions.

The highest package being offered is 28 LPA, the lowest is 2 LPA, and the average package being offered is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Wipro and TCS. The placement scenario is average but a student needs to work very hard to grab a job. The highest package is mainly offered to CS and ECE branch students.
