NITTE Mangalore (Deemed-to-be University) is accredited with an A+ Grade by NAAC. The university has received a Diamond rating in the QS I-Gauge India Ratings. Some of the courses provided by the deemed to be university are accredited by NBA. The teaching hospital of NITTE University is accredited by both NABH and NABL. NITTE Mangalore, through various colleges, provides a total of 74 UG, PG, and various other courses to students. NITTE Mangalore was established in 2008 and is known for its flagship programmes such as BTech, MBBS, and others.

There is a dedicated placement cell operational at the university that acts as a bridge between the students and the corporate world.
